{Le Saint-Honoré}

Is there anything better to look forward to on a Saturday morning than a breakfast date at Ladurée? I think not, especially when it's to catch up with my patisserie critiquing counterpart, Grace of 'Will She Love Paris?'

Between us we ordered the French toast, which is simply delicious, and two of the prettiest patisseries in the display cabinet. One of which was the Saint-Honoré Rose Framboise which is decorated with waves of pink chantilly cream, fresh raspberries and rose petals and tastes as good as it looks. The second pastry we shared was the Religieuse Violette which was very tasty although a little on the sweet side.

We spent the next couple of hours ambling down Rue Saint-Honoré in search of a couple of shops. There's something quite cute about eating a patisserie and then spending the rest of the day walking down a street which bears the same name.
