City Breaks

Choux Pastry Heaven

I feel so blessed to have met so many kind people since I’ve been in Paris, so far my experiences here have only been filled with wonderful people who have later become some of my closest friends. I always think of Paris as such a transient city as people seem to come and go so often and over the years I feel as though I’ve had to let go of so many people who I hold dear to my heart. The one good thing about saying goodbye is then having the opportunity to cross paths with new people who you’ll always be thankful you met.

Ylenia and Meg are two of the kindest and most welcoming souls that Iv’e been lucky enough to meet. I feel so grateful that we crossed paths because they always bring a smile to my face. The other day we met up to indulge in some of the yummiest eclairs in the city from l’Eclair de genie. Despite the rain I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day indulging in treats and later seeking refuge in the cosy cafe Loustic.

Those are the most beautiful eclairs I have ever seen. The colours are so enticing, I can’t even imagine how delicious they must be!

The picture of the eclairs! I … I had no idea that they came in more than one flavour. I feel so deprived.

Mmmmm thos éclairs! I had one last night (caramel beurre salé) to celebrate some good news! Such a cute post, with gorgeous photos : ) I used to really struggle at the beginning with making friends who I then had to say au revoir to – but eventually I grasped that it’s such an enriching experience to know people from all these different places ! Happy Wednesday, Lou xx
