How to spend a perfect day in Luxembourg

It’s not difficult to spend a perfect day in Luxembourg with its charming cobblestone streets, fairytale views and historic architecture. Add to that Belgian beer and French cheese and you really cannot go wrong. For a more detailed itinerary on how to spend a perfect day in this city, read on.

Bloom, Luxembourg

Bloom
As much as I love this city, one shortfall is its lack of specialty coffee shops. You have to dig deep and do a lot of research if you want to start your morning with a decent coffee, but don't fret we've got you covered. Head straight to Bloom for a creamy flat white and a spot of breakfast. You won't find Aussie-style brunch in Luxembourg, but this place does a decent smashed avo toast or granola bowl with berries.

First up is a walk across the beautiful arched Adolphe Bridge where you'll catch your first glimpse of Luxembourg's prettiness looking out from the arches. Grand Ducal Palace
Head into the centre of Luxembourg and as you stroll around the quaint streets, you’ll be greeted with the beautiful sight of the Grand Ducal Palace. This imposing renaissance palace surrounded by ordinary shops would look out of place if we were in any other city, but in Luxembourg it sits nicely in the city centre. During the summer months, guided tours of the ornate interior can be organised.
