Island Hopping around Coron
Coron is a beautiful island surrounded by crystal clear lagoons, turquoise waters and pristine lakes. It’s one of the best destinations in the Philippines for diving and snorkeling with shipwrecks attracting colourful coral and plenty of fish. You might even spot a sea turtle if you’re lucky. Whilst much of the beauty can be found at sea, the island’s interior also deserves some of your time. Hire a moped and explore the island on your own clock. You’ll pass verdant landscapes, rice paddies and friendly locals happily waving at you as you pass. On land use Busuanga Bay Lodge as your base and head to Ocam Ocam beach and climb to the top of Mount Tapyas for sunset. At sea, make sure to visit the Twin Lagoons, Kayangan Lake and Pass Island.
