Tuileries

For some reason I’ve always favoured other gardens over the Tuileries but of lately I’ve been hanging around here a lot waiting for the fashion week madness to begin. It seems to have only just dawned on me how beautiful these gardens are and in such a perfect location. You really get the sense of being in the heart of Paris, particularly as a lot of my favourite things to do are all within sight and walking distance of the gardens.

Wow; these gardens really are phenomenal. Quite literally, every color is there. Blue, green, pink, red, orange, purple, yellow. It’s beautiful. It seems so quintessentially French–the manicured garden surrounded by classic architecture. I would be so comfortable, and so eager, to explore such a place.
