Ultimate Guide to Kuala Lumpur

I’ve already covered the best coffee shops, brunch spots, desserts and rooftop bars in separate guides, but thought I would also include an ultimate guide to Kuala Lumpur covering a bit of everything. There aren’t many must-see attractions, which takes the pressure off and allows you to explore the city at a leisurely pace. The joy of the city lies in cafe hopping, wandering through Chinatown and stumbling across local food markets.

Getting Around
Kuala Lumpur isn’t a very walk-able city. Neighbourhoods are far apart and locals drive everywhere causing notorious traffic jams. The good news is that Uber is ridiculously cheap, even if you do get stuck in traffic. Otherwise you can use the railway and monorail network to get around the centre.
