Yule Log at Laduree

Every Christmas I eagerly await the day that the yule logs become available at the Parisian patisseries so I have an excuse to commence the annual over eating festivities. Everybody knows you’re allowed to overindulge at this time of year so I feel slightly less guilty about my sugar consumption. Whilst such delights might not be your standard brunch fair, I had to order one from Ladurée at some point and this particular morning just seemed like the ideal occasion. The seasonal yule log at Ladurée has become a yearly tradition which I certainly shan’t be giving up as one of my New Year’s resolutions! The tea room at St Germain has to be my favourite and it has just been renovated so is looking more charming than ever.

Isn’t it simply the best pain perdu in the whole of Paris Christine?! Thank you so much for visiting once again, you’re so lovely!

You certainly should not give up that tradition! What else is January is for, if not making up for December indulgences?
Gorgeous photos as always!
