A Sweet Sunshine Brunch

A while ago I hosted a little brunch at the apartment in order to celebrate the arrival of Spring with a few lovely people. The idea was for everyone to bring something from the Pierre Hermé boutique located dangerously close to our apartment so that we could all spend a sweet Sunday morning eating patisseries together. My intention was to create a space as sunny and as happy as possible which for me meant incorporating lots of yellow and orange, colours which evoke sunshine and happiness. With this in mind I sourced out polka dot orange napkins, brightly coloured straws, fresh mangoes and homemade lemonade. I wish I could tell you which of the patisseries we enjoyed the most but after a while they all started to resemble one another what I can say though is a brunch is never complete without a few of Pierre Hermé’s Ispahan croissants, truly the yummiest croissant to ever have been created!

In one word: perfect! Looks like you all had the loveliest and sweetest time. Seeing the Désiré pastry makes my mouth water again, that one is so good!

Oh, dear! I must say this is one of the most lovely displays of your photography that I have seen. You’ve successfully portrayed sunshine and happiness, and you’ve got me daydreaming of a brunch like this full of Pierre Hermé treats! Sending much love <3
