Whilst the queue to reach the top of Notre Dame always looks unappealingly long, I would have to argue that it’s worth the wait. The views atop Notre Dame take your breath away. Paris from above looks like a sea of rooftops in every shade of gray with the Eiffel Tower standing like the pinnacle over the city. The experience is only heightened by the thought of climbing the timeworn stone stairs of one the most magnificent cathedrals in the world.
