From the moment I saw my first sunrise, I fell in love with Bagan. Known as the land of a thousand temples, Bagan has a landscape studded with stuccos and ancient pagodas. Unlike any landscape I had seen before, it was impossible not to fall under its charm. I wanted to make the most of every moment, so I made sure to wake up every day for sunrise. After the sun had risen I would spend my days exploring the temples in the sunlight, hopping on and off mopeds, drinking sugar cane juice as often as I could and talking with friendly locals, especially the beautiful Myanmar children.
