Our time in Croatia was spent between the mainland and the islands. I had long wanted to visit the waterfalls inland, so we decided to spread our time equally between the two. If I get the chance to return to this beautiful country, I plan on spending as much time island hopping as possible. Hvar is an island which really does have it all: secluded bays, quaint old towns, trendy beach bars and fine dining. I could have happily stayed on this idyllic island for the whole two weeks, but there were other islands calling our names.
