Jardin du Luxembourg

No matter the season the Jardin du Luxembourg is breathtaking. It is one of the most celebrated gardens in Paris and it is easy to see why. Whilst the gardens might not be quite as beautiful as in the summer months, I do appreciate being able to find a free green chair to sit on. On a clear day before Christmas I took a stroll around these gardens and enjoyed how peaceful they were, although a small part of me couldn’t help but dream of the picnics we delighted in only months before.

I keep meaning to go there every time I’m in Paris but still haven’t gotten around to it. I must make it a priority next time. Looks so beautiful there!!

It’s kind of in an awkward place regarding public transport but definitely worth the effort – make sure to get there early enough to save a chair!

I nearly forget just how beautiful it is when it’s been a while since I’ve returned! We must go on a photography walk together soon! <3

I’ve never been to Paris (or Europe for that matter), but these gardens are at the top of my list for when I do visit. Having tea on a winter day near in the gardens sounds like an absolutely magical time.

The serenity in these photos is beautiful. The soft winter light and the empty chairs make everything look so peaceful. It’s fascinating to see how this place changes throughout the seasons.
Oh, how gorgeous would it be dressed in winter’s white…
