Koh Lipe was hands down my favourite of all seven Thai islands I visited. It’s an island of pristine beaches with aquamarine waters and silky smooth sands. There is a reason it’s called the Maldives of Thailand. On land the streets are dotted with relaxed reggae bars, street stands grilling freshly caught fish and mojitos made to order. Underwater some of the best snorkelling in Thailand can be found with beautiful coral reefs and multi-coloured fish.
