City Breaks

Park Hyatt Vendôme

The other day one of my closest friends and I went on an extravagant coffee date to the Park Hyatt hotel. Over the winter months the hotel’s terrace becomes a winter wonderland where you can escape the city for a short but sweet vacation to the Alps. Complete with a cosy chalet where you can enjoy Swiss raclette you’ll really feel as though you’ve just come off the slope for a little respite. However we went there to try the Christmas inspired patisserie ‘Let it snow’ smaller than imagined yet full of so many different layers which kept surprising our taste buds. The service was impeccable which got us to wondering why we don’t make coffee dates at hotels a more regular thing.

You can find me on Facebook for more regular updates

Is that really a pastry??? That is the strangest looking baked good I have ever seen — I can’t imagine what it tastes like. Gorgeous photos as always!

You are so right! It looks like some kind of bizarre sea creature but it tastes far from it
