To take a little break from the daily grind of life, I met up with Jessica at St Sulpice to grab a few things from Pierre Hermé; pretty patisseries and good company always allow me to escape for a little while. I have a tradition of eating my treats on one of the benches in front of the fountain and luckily it’s still just about warm enough to do so. I’m determined to make the most of it and sit outside for as long as possible as I know soon enough the weather won’t permit such luxuries. Afterwards I took the very quaint rue du Cherche-Midi passing the traditional boulangeriePoilâne as well as a handful of other quintessentially French boutiques.
