Tuileries in the Rain
Recently in Paris the weather has been slightly fickle to say the least.. It has been sunshine one minute, raining the next and then hailing a couple of hours later like I’ve never heard hail before. Whilst everyone talks of how romantic Paris is in the rain, I can’t help but disagree, after all there isn’t anything nice about soggy feet and wet hair. However the other day as I was walking through the Tuileries and got caught out in a downpour without an umbrella I was forced to embrace getting wet. I can’t deny that the Louvre under a heavy sky and the droplets on the flowers made me smile to myself at how much I love this city no matter how changeable the weather may be.

Actually I’m French and I live in Paris. Hopefully I’m fluent in English so I can tell you that I think it’s SO amazing that you moved to Paris to follow your dreams :)
